"WHEN PREPARING TO PAINT butterflies, ravens, and fish, I prefer not to draw first with pencil. Instead, I put down puddles, splatters, and drops of water on the paper. I then drop in rich, intense watercolor and let it do what watercolor does naturally when used as I believe watercolor was meant to be used. Fun!"
