First Place Award

IN APRIL 2010, DIANNE WAS AWARDED FIRST PLACE ($1500) at the 19th National Art Exhibition and Sale of The Artist Association of Northern Colorado, for her watercolor painting, "Perennial Beauty".

The exhibition took place at The Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, Colorado, and was juried by Frank Francese of the National Watercolor Society.

First Place at Zonta, 2008

TWO YEARS RUNNING, DIANNE HAS WON FIRST PLACE (top award) at Cañon City's Zonta show (Artful Women Exhibition). This particular show is only open to women artists 18 and over.

"The Cañon City Zonta club is associated with Zonta International, a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions, working together to advance the status of women. There are approximately 36,000 members in more than 1,100 clubs in over 60 countries." (from www.zonta.org)

"Dianne Widom wins 'Best of Show' on Friday night (see above painting) at the Salute to Southern Colorado Artists exhibit opening reception at the Fremont Center for the Arts. The Cañon City woman is one of 46 artists in the show with a total of 125 pieces. The exhibit, sponsored by the Royal Gorge Artists Association, is for all artists of Southern Colorado to show their work and compete against one another."
