"I'VE BEEN DRAWN TO PORTRAIT WORK since very early in my life, as well as early on in my art career. For years I worked in both pencil and pen & ink, then eventually began using acrylics for quite realistic portraits. As time went by, I began painting many of my portraits in a very loose style with watercolor. I was quite surprised at the results appearing on my watercolor paper, but truly love the free and colorful technique. I've done many commission portraits using watercolor or octopus ink."
